Compliment your barnwood fireplace mantel or floating shelf with one of our hand-hewn corbels!  Perfected by Amish craftsmanship and antiqued to look like 18th Century barn beams, every corbel is unique with no two looking alike.  Their checks and cracking fill each one with reclaimed charm and character.  Available in a variety of finishes, sizes, and styles, our corbels are masterfully crafted and are as beautiful as the mantel and shelves they accompany.

FEATURES:

  • Custom-made from Eastern White Pine
  • Available in two styles: Classic and Cove
  • Air dried to add checks and cracking for character
  • Hand sanded to help prevent splinters and allowing for easy cleaning
  • Lightweight, easy to handle and install
  • Hand-hewn means every corbel is unique, no two are alike
  • Sold as a set of two

CORBEL DIMENSIONS: The width, style, and finishing stain of the corbels is of your choosing.  On average, corbels are approximately 8-9" deep; however, their depth is ultimately determined by the depth of your mantel (when ordered together) so that they match in size.  Corbel length is determined by the height of your mantel (when ordered together), but can be, on average, approximately 10-12" in length.  Example: if you order a mantel that is 8H x 10D, your corbels would have an approximate depth of 8" and a length of 11".

ORDERING NOTE:
When ordering your fireplace mantel and corbels, please take into consideration whether they will be installed on top of existing stone veneer/brick, or if it will be behind stone veneer/brick that will be installed at a later date.  If they will be installed behind stone veneer/brick, we recommend increasing the depth of your mantel to accommodate the area that will be obstructed by the stone veneer/brick.  Example:  If you order a mantel with a 6" depth and your stone veneer/brick protrudes from the wall by 2", your usable mantel depth will only be 4".
